POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AND RESEARCH

• Research grants for short term (1 to 6 months)
  For PhD students and young researchers from all specialties.
  Deadline: Until September 15, 2008 (for stays starting between January and April 2009).
  Deadline: January 15 until 2009 (for stays starting between August 2009 and May 2009).
  Deadline: Until May 15, 2009 (for stays starting between September 2009 and December
  2009).


• 25 research fellowships per year (see also "scholarships")
  In cooperation with the Social Work Foundation "la Caixa". For graduates of all
  specialties.
  Period: from January 2 to April 11, 2009 (tbc).



• Fellowships for research with PDI PhD (1 to 3 months)
  For academics and researchers;
  Deadline: Until September 15, 2008 (for stays starting between January and April 2009).
  Deadline: March 15 until 2009 (for stays starting between July 2009 and January 2010).


• Scholarships new invitation to alumni of DAAD (1 to 3 months)
  For former fellows who enjoyed an annual scholarship of the DAAD in Germany
  Deadline: Until September 15, 2008 (for stays starting between January and April 2009).
  Deadline: March 15 until 2009 (for stays starting between July 2009 and January 2010).


• Grants for visiting professors in Germany (3 to 48 months)
  The German university must take the initiative to invite a visiting professor, to organize the project and apply for a grant. More information: www.daad.de / gastdozenten Until January 15 of each year (for October to February next year) Until July 15 each year (for April-July)


• Year postdoctoral fellowship in biotechnology
