The Faculty II computer science, economics and law at the Carl von Ossietzky Oldenburg University is in the field of "Finance and Banking (Prof. Dr. Jörg Prokop) a Doctorate Scholarship for a period of two years to be awarded.
Prerequisites for a successful application are significantly above average from
closed completed university studies with an emphasis in Banking and Finance as well as very good English skills. Another study in accounting is desirable. The expectation is also a high degree of personal initiative, responsibility and commitment.
The scholarship is intended to prepare a thesis written under the project "Securitization and its effect on the information function of bank balance sheets," a collaborative project with the Department of Accounting and Controlling of the University of Bremen. It is with a monthly amount of € 1.000, - plus a monthly research allowance of € 100, - doped.
Carl von Ossietzky University aims to double the proportion of women in the science area. Therefore, women are strongly encouraged to apply. Severely disabled people are equally qualified preferred.
