2009: Ambassador Study Abroad Scholarships at the La Trobe University

Fellowship Volume:

The La Trobe University in Melbourne Study Abroad awards 10 scholarships worth A $ 1550 each for the year 2009.

Funded programs:

Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
Education
Business, Law and Management
Health Sciences
Psychology and Social Work
Sciences
Computer science and IT
Engineering

Candidates:

The tender is open to all applicants, a Study Abroad - stay at the Australian College from March 2009 aspire. Students who are already for a Study Abroad semester at La Trobe University have applied already or are admitted, can apply for the scholarship later.


Bewerbung documents:

The following documents are used for the scholarship application requires:

* Application wrapper of GOstralia!
* Study Abroad Application Form
* Transcipt of Courses - certified by the examination, or a certified German expression of the Audit Office with your past services rendered in connection with the (non-certified) Transcript of Courses
* Higher certificates - certified copies
* Creative Writing in English - about 100 words: How would you describe your experience to others at the La Trobe after your return to your home country can participate? ( "Tell us in 100 words or less the most creative way you could share your experience of La Trobe upon return to your home country")
* Curriculum Vitae in English
* High school or college entrance qualification - certified copy
* Language Requirements: Baccalaureate Certificate with at least "satisfactory" in English in conjunction with the DAAD language test with at least "b" in all test areas - or TOEFL / IELTS

Please note that an application for the scholarship is only possible if all admission requirements until 06.02.2009 are met. I.e. at this time must also passed the language test will be presented.

Scholarships for Master of Science Programmes available for the year 2008/2009

Every year there is the opportunity to request consideration for specific scholarships offered to international students.
Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only a nominal tuition fee for a maximum of €210.00.

>> ICE-Unioncamere Scholarships - 100 scholarships of 5,000€ offered by Istituto Nazionale per il Commercio con l’Estero (ICE) and the Unione Italiana delle Camere di Commercio, Artigianato e Agricoltura (Unioncamere) will be assigned to foreign students admitted for the academic year 2008/09 to one of the Master of Science programme at Politecnico.

>> Scholarship for Management Economics and Industrial Engineering programme - One scholarship of 10,000€ offered by the Banca di Credito Cooperativo dell’Alta Brianza will be assigned to one foreign student from Ecuador that has been admitted for the academic year 2008/09 to the Master of Science programme in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering offered in the Como campus.

- 10 scholarships of 10,000€ (5.000€ per year to be reconfirmed for the academic year 2009/2010) by Camera di Commercio di Milano will be assigned to ten foreign students that have been admitted for the academic year 2008/09 to the Master of Science programme in Architecture, Engineer of Computing Systems, Urban Planning and Policy Design (Milano Leonardo Campus) or Product Service System Design (Bovisa Campus).

All international students who fill-in the on-line application form
and deliver the required documentation to the International Admission Office both during the first call  (from October 15th 2007 to January 31st  2008 ) or second call (from February 1st to April 15th 2008), will automatically be considered for purely merit-based scholarship that covers both tuition fee and accommodation. Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only a nominal tuition for a maximum of €210.00 .

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships - 2008 / 2009 - Germany, France, Spain : European Union Master’s Course in Mechatronic and Micro-mechatronic Systems

The European Union supports the masters course EU4M (European Master on Mechatronics and Micro-Mechatronic Systems ) by offering 18 attractive scholarships (2 years with 21000 €/year) for Non- European students and one grant for Western Balkan students. It offers also some grants (1,2 or 3 months) for Non- European scholars (academics).

The deadline of application is 31 January 2008. The Master has been accepted in the framework of the prestigious European programme on education “Erasmus Mundus”.



During the programme, the student will work one year on universities in two different european countries: Karlsruhe (Germany), Besancon (France) and Gijon (Spain). Lectures are given in the local languages French, German and/or Spanish.

Duration of studies is two years. During the programme, the student will work one year on universities in two different european countries: Hochschule Karlsruhe Technik und Wirtschaft, Karlsruhe (Germany), Ecole Nationale Superieure de Mecanique et des Microtechniques de Besancon(France) and Escuela Politécnica Superior de Gijon (Spain), obtaining two master’s diplomas of those two institutions. Lectures are given in the local languages French, German and/or Spanish.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA

Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia invites applications from international students for the scholarships from Government of Malaysia for academic session 2009/2010. The scholarships are as follows:-

* MTCP Scholarship
* MIS Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies
* MIS Scholarship for Postgraduate Studies
* Commonwealth Scholarship (Comprehensive information is provided in the brochure)

A panel established by the Ministry of Higher Education
Malaysia will finalise the selection.
